About the job Job Summary Yummi Umami is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to oversee the full accounting cycle across our group of companies. This role reports directly to the Managing Director and works closely with the management team to support the company's continued growth. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Thai accounting and taxation, is comfortable working with cloud-based accounting systems, and is able to provide accurate and timely financial information to support management's decision-making. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Finance Manage the full accounting cycle across the company's businesses. Record daily accounting transactions using PEAK Accounting. Perform bank, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger reconciliations. Prepare invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents. Perform monthly closing and prepare financial reports for management. Prepare financial statements and financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Tax Compliance Prepare and submit all applicable tax filings accurately and on time, including VAT (PP.30), PP.36 (when applicable), and withholding tax returns (PND.1, PND.2, PND.3, PND.53, and PND.54 when applicable). Manage withholding tax calculations and prepare withholding tax certificates. Prepare supporting documents for mid-year (PND.51) and annual corporate income tax filings (PND.50). Payroll Manage monthly payroll processing. Handle social security, payroll tax, and other payroll-related matters, such as student loan deductions where applicable. Prepare annual payroll reports and related documentation. Coordination & Process Improvement Coordinate with external auditors, accounting firms, and relevant government authorities. Work closely with the Operations team, HR, and the Managing Director to ensure accurate and timely financial information. Support the continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal financial systems. Qualifications Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in full-cycle accounting. Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end close processes. Good English communication skills, as you will work closely with international management. Experience with PEAK Accounting is preferred, or the ability to learn new accounting systems quickly. Familiarity with local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit procedures in Thailand. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA qualification or CPD accountant registration is an advantage. Prior experience in a senior accounting or similar role, preferably within food and beverage, hospitality, or retail sectors. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy and integrity. Effective communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and capacity to work on-site in a fast-paced environment. WHY YUMMI UMAMI?
