Sustainability & Waste Management Manager

Sustainability & Waste Management Manager Lead waste management operations and sustainability initiatives, including recycling, Circular Economy, and carbon reduction programs, to ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and environmental excellence. Work Location: based in 304 Industrial Park, Prachinburi Working days: Monday – Friday and alternate Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement operational plans for waste management activities, including Factory 106 and waste collection services, to achieve business objectives efficiently. Prepare annual operating budgets and capital expenditure plans, and monitor spending to ensure cost-effective operations. Manage, coach, and develop team members to ensure adequate staffing and high performance. Monitor revenue, operating costs, and service pricing to maximize profitability. Oversee purchasing and sales activities related to waste and recycled products. Review and manage service contracts to ensure accuracy and commercial appropriateness. Ensure all operations comply with company policies, service agreements, permits, ISO9001, ISO14001, and all applicable environmental laws and regulations. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain all required licenses and regulatory approvals. Oversee maintenance of plant facilities, machinery, waste collection vehicles, tools, and equipment. Analyze operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction. Ensure plant operations are conducted safely and minimize environmental and community impact. Lead waste reduction, recycling, Zero Waste, and Circular Economy initiatives across the organization. Oversee the organization’s carbon footprint assessment and propose strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Promote the adoption of Digital Transformation and AI tools to improve operational efficiency and decision-making. Prepare operational, financial, and sustainability reports for senior management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in waste management, fertilizer plants, environmental operations, or related industrial facilities. Strong sense of responsibility and accountability. Good analytical thinking and sound judgment. High emotional intelligence (EQ) and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of environmental regulations, ISO standards, and waste treatment processes. Experience in budgeting, cost control, and operational planning. Leadership and team management capabilities. Familiarity with Carbon Footprint, Circular Economy, and sustainability initiatives. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools; experience with AI and Digital Transformation is an advantage.
