Legal Director

Legal Director – Real Estate & Marine Logistics We are seeking an experienced Legal Director to lead the Legal Department and provide strategic legal direction across our diverse business, including housing, commercial and residential developments, industrial parks, and marine logistics . This role is responsible for overseeing litigation, legal advisory, corporate governance, risk management, compliance, and legal operations while ensuring the organization's legal interests are effectively protected. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute the Group's legal strategy in alignment with business objectives. Provide strategic legal advice to the Executive Management and Board of Directors. Lead and develop the in-house legal team, including performance management and capability development. Oversee legal advisory services, contract drafting, review, and negotiation for the Group's businesses. Manage legal risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws and corporate governance requirements. Lead litigation, arbitration, dispute resolution, and relationships with external law firms. Support complex business transactions, including investments, joint ventures, financing, and M&A activities. Monitor legal and regulatory developments and provide practical recommendations to the business. Manage the Legal Department's budget, resources, and operational efficiency, including Legal Tech initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.); a higher degree is an advantage. Valid Attorney-at-Law License issued by the Lawyers Council of Thailand. Minimum 10 years' management experience in legal practice, with substantial litigation experience. Strong experience supporting businesses in real estate, property development, industrial parks, infrastructure, logistics, or related industries . Experience managing external counsel and complex legal disputes. Excellent leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills. Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities. Ability to work effectively with senior executives, government authorities, and regulatory agencies.
