Qualifications & experience The ability to adjust and adapt communication and body language to best suit our clients is essential. Completed certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent is required. Initiative, empathy and the ability to think on your feet is a requirement of the role. Current First Aid and CPR Open car license and reliable insured vehicle is essential for the role. Previous experience is desirable, but certainly not essential for the right candidate. Tasks & responsibilities Assisting clients with household tasks. Providing personal care. Supporting clients to learn new skills, and encourage clients to build on their existing skills and strengths. Supporting clients with everyday tasks like grocery shopping and meal preparation. Working collaboratively with Allied Health professionals and informal support networks. Provide clients with support to safely access the community and engage in meaningful activities.
