Business Development Associate

Job Summary The Business Development Associate is responsible for supporting the Company’s physical market engagement activities, including roadshows, exhibitions, tender briefings, networking sessions, vendor engagement programmes, etc The main objective of this role is to collect quality leads, provide a basic introduction to Company’s financing solutions, promote Company’s official digital channels during events, and support the Business Relationship Department in following up with potential prospects. What is your role? Responsibilities Attend physical marketing events, roadshows, briefings, exhibitions and vendor engagement sessions on behalf of the Company. Approach vendors, contractors, suppliers and business owners to introduce our Company and its financing solutions. Provide a simple and accurate explanation of Company’s financing solutions, including invoice financing, contract financing, supply chain financing and other relevant facilities. Collect prospect information, business details and initial financing needs during events. Record all leads accurately in the approved lead form, database or CRM system. Distribute approved marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, company profiles and product information sheets. Encourage event participants, prospects and visitors to follow Company’s official social media platforms for updates on financing solutions, events, success stories and educational content. Promote positive online engagement by inviting prospects to follow, like, share or interact with Company’s approved social media posts, where appropriate. Support event registration, booth management, client enquiries and on-ground coordination where required. Prepare simple post-event reports, including number of leads collected, potential prospects, key enquiries, market feedback and digital engagement support. Maintain professional conduct, grooming and communication when representing Company at public events. Ensure all information shared with prospects is aligned with approved product information and company guidelines. Who are we looking for? Requirements Must possess at least SPM/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Marketing, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline. Banker and non-banker with sales experience are welcomed to apply. Experience in sales, client relationship, customer service, events or financial services will be an advantage. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply Good communication and interpersonal skills. Confident in approaching new people and engaging with vendors, suppliers, contractors and business owners. Able to explain basic financing concepts in a simple and professional manner. Organised, responsible and able to record information accurately. Comfortable promoting Company’s official social media platforms and digital channels during events. Willing to attend external events, roadshows and engagement sessions. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrates a strong determination to achieve goals and overcome challenges. Takes proactive steps and demonstrates initiative to take on tasks independently. Hard-working and diligence in carrying out responsibilities. A Goal Go-Getter to achieve objectives and meet targets.
