Job Title: Senior Product Designer Reports to: SVP Product Development Work Modality: In office (TST, Hong Kong) with frequent travel to factories in mainland China. Core Responsibilities 1. Create concepts, designs, and manage new products 2. Meet with factories (in mainland China), sales teams, and vendors periodically 3. Ensure all projects and milestones stay on or ahead of schedule 4. Ensure all projects are submitted and approved by licensors Minimum Requirements Experience · 5+ Years experience in the Toy Industry · 5+ Years Experience with Radio Control and/or electronic items Experience working on licensed products, including working from style guides and the approvals process Knowledge Skills & Abilities · Must be proficient in generating concepts, design drawings, and functional requirements for new products · Must be organized, follow schedules, and be self-motivated to keep projects on schedule · Excellent independent decision-making and problem-solving abilities · Have knowledge and interest in vehicles, the auto industry, and motor sports · Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese (not required) · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Pro E (not required) Working Conditions · Full time position to be based in TST, Hong Kong · Frequent travel to factories in mainland China, including overnight stays as needed · May require occasional travel to overseas toy shows (Germany, USA) · After hours and weekend work may be required on an occasional basis, as needed.
