ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for an Accountant with 4+ years of experience to take charge of essential financial functions across our Australian and Canadian operations. Based in our Osborne Park head office, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining our financial integrity, reporting directly to the Financial Controller and Executive leadership, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include: Manage and lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Monitor and report on divisional expenditure and budgets. Manage cash flow and working capital, and lead the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll functions, ensuring efficient and accurate operations. Collaborating on annual budget process, reforecasting, and scenario analysis to meet evolving business needs. Collaborating on the preparation of statutory reporting, audit and tax requirements. Maintain fixed asset registers and capital expenditure reporting. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls. Undertake other finance-related duties as required. ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you’ll bring: Degree in accounting or finance. Completed or working towards CPA/CA qualifications preferred. 4+ years of experience in finance/accounting, ideally with exposure to multi-site organisations. Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills. Strong communication, with a proactive, problem-solving approach. Experienced in process improvements. Knowledge of Australian tax and audit legislation (knowledge of Canadian legislation would also be useful, however not essential), internal controls and risk management.
