We are looking for a Senior Barista who is passionate about coffee, enjoys leading a team, and wants to help shape a new brand from the ground up. Job Summary As our Senior Barista, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional coffee quality while leading day-to-day café operations. You will set service standards, coach junior team members, maintain consistency, and ensure every customer enjoys a premium experience. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in both coffee craftsmanship and team leadership. Key Responsibilities Prepare consistently high-quality coffee and beverages. Lead daily café operations and ensure smooth service. Train, coach, and mentor junior baristas. Maintain beverage quality, presentation, and service standards. Monitor inventory, ordering, stock rotation, and waste control. Ensure cleanliness, food safety, and equipment maintenance. Handle customer enquiries and resolve service issues professionally. Support menu development, seasonal beverages, and workflow improvements. Assist with scheduling and opening/closing procedures. Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative team culture. Qualifications Minimum 2–3 years' experience as a barista, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and coffee preparation. Passion for specialty coffee and hospitality. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Comfortable training and motivating team members. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Good spoken English is an advantage, as we welcome many international customers. Positive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail.
