You will be one of the first hires in a new data and AI team, with the freedom to shape the technology stack and define how AI solutions are built and deployed across the organization. Job Description The AI Solutions Engineer designs and deploys AI-powered solutions that drive measurable business impact. Working with the Data, Automation, BI, and business teams, you will leverage AI, machine learning, and Microsoft's AI ecosystem to deliver solutions from Copilot assistants to custom models, all built on reliable, well-governed data and integrated securely into business workflows. Key Responsibilities: Design & Implement AI Solutions: Build AI solutions using Microsoft Azure AI, Copilot, and Power Platform to streamline processes and create commercial impact. Build & Maintain AI Infrastructure: Ensure scalability, reliability, and cost optimisation across Azure and related platforms. Apply FinOps Principles: Monitor model usage, token consumption, and infrastructure spend; set budgets, alerts, and showback per team; continuously optimise for cost without compromising performance. Build Conversational & Task-Based Agents: Develop agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI, and Azure Bot Services. Develop, Integrate & Monitor AI/ML Models: Manage prompt engineering and responsible-AI guardrails. Integrate AI into Existing Systems: Ensure solutions are securely embedded into infrastructure and business systems. Ensure Compliance: All solutions must meet data security and privacy regulations. Partner with Data Team: Ensure AI solutions are built on clean, well-structured, and governed data. Stay Current: Keep up with AI trends and technologies to drive innovation. Key Requirements Mandatory Qualifications: 5+ Years in AI/Digital Solution Design & Deployment: Proven track record of developing and deploying AI, machine learning, and digital solutions in production environments. Microsoft Azure AI Expertise: Strong experience with Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and Azure Machine Learning. Copilot & Agent Development: Experience building Microsoft 365 Copilot solutions, AI agents, intelligent automation, and prompt engineering frameworks. Python & API Proficiency: Strong Python skills; experience with REST APIs and webhooks for system integration. Identity & Access Management: Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID. Analytical & Communication Skills: Ability to translate business needs into AI-driven solutions. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
