Business Analyst (Assistant Manager/Manager Level)

Key Responsibilities Lead requirements engineering, business analysis, solution design, and business process improvement initiatives across multiple projects. Manage and oversee the end-to-end business analysis lifecycle, ensuring business requirements are translated into effective, scalable, and sustainable technology solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, clients, project sponsors, and delivery teams to ensure alignment of business objectives and successful project outcomes. Lead requirement gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and design thinking sessions to identify business needs and define solution options. Work closely with business users, solution architects, developers, and subject matter experts to evaluate business processes and recommend best practice solutions. Drive business process reengineering initiatives by collaborating with Process Consultants and business stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and customer experience. Review, validate, and approve business requirement documents, functional specifications, process flows, and solution documentation to ensure quality and completeness. Facilitate decision-making workshops and provide strategic recommendations on solution alternatives, project scope, and implementation approaches. Support Project Managers in project planning, resource management, scope management, risk assessment, issue resolution, and change management activities. Lead business readiness activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), implementation planning, user training, and post-implementation support. Drive presales activities by engaging with prospective clients, preparing solution proposals, participating in solution demonstrations, and supporting business development initiatives. Contribute to product strategy and product development by identifying market opportunities, business improvements, and customer enhancement requirements. Mentor and provide guidance to Business Analysts and junior team members to ensure consistency, capability development, and adherence to best practices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by promoting business analysis standards, governance, methodologies, and delivery excellence across projects. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational governance while achieving customer satisfaction and business value. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Minimum 6–8 years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Consulting, or Solution Analysis, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or people management role . Strong domain knowledge in Commercial Banking (Retail and Corporate Banking), Investment Banking, or Digital Banking. Experience in Financial Services is highly preferred. Proven experience leading large-scale business transformation, system implementation, and digital transformation initiatives within banking or financial institutions. Extensive experience in requirements elicitation, business process modelling, solution design, system enhancement, and implementation projects. Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches. Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders, business sponsors, vendors, and cross-functional teams while balancing competing priorities. Experience managing project resources, coaching Business Analysts, and leading high-performing teams. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities with the ability to influence business and technology decisions. Proven leadership experience in driving business change, process optimization, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Business Analyst, or Scrum Master will be an added advantage.
