Job Highlights: We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Payroll professional to manage the full spectrum of payroll operations across our group of companies, covering various business segments. This role provides valuable exposure to payroll operations, statutory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, and Operations teams. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for processing the full spectrum of payroll activities for local and foreign employees across multiple business entities. Manage monthly payroll processing, including salary calculations, overtime, incentives, bonuses, allowances, leave adjustments, tax deductions, and other payroll-related deductions. Maintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure timely updates of employee information. Handle statutory submissions and contributions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, SKBBK, and PCB (Monthly Tax Deduction) via relevant government platforms. Prepare and submit payroll-related documents and correspondence to LHDN, including EA Forms, CP38, and other tax-related documentation. Perform payroll verification, generate payroll reports, prepare bank payment files, and distribute payslips to employees. Ensure monthly statutory submissions are completed accurately and within the required deadlines. Stay updated on changes in Malaysian labour laws, payroll regulations, and statutory requirements to ensure compliance. Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive employee payroll information. Collaborate with Finance consultants and relevant departments on payroll reconciliation, fund allocation, payment schedules, and cash flow arrangements. Handle and resolve employees’ payroll-related queries promptly to ensure a high level of employee satisfaction. Provide support for audit preparation and documentation when required. Work closely with HR and other stakeholders to continuously improve payroll processes and operational efficiency. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or related disciplines. Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on end-to-end payroll processing experience (not limited to payroll support). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data sorting, and formula-based reporting. Experience with Excel-based payroll processing is highly preferred. Good knowledge of Malaysian statutory requirements, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, SKBBK and PCB submissions. Familiarity with government portals such as LHDN e-Filing, PERKESO Assist, and other relevant platforms. Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical accuracy. Ability to handle confidential payroll information with professionalism and discretion. Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, HR, and Operations teams. Able to work independently, manage priorities, and meet strict monthly payroll deadlines. Familiarity with payroll systems such as Worksy, Infortech , or other payroll platforms will be an advantage. Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is an added advantage to communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
