Qualifed Carpenter

Casa Grande Builders Limited is seeking a motivated and skilled Qualified Carpenter to join our growing residential construction team in Queenstown, Otago. This is a full-time permanent position offering the opportunity to work on a variety of high-quality residential building projects. What you'll be doing Perform high-quality carpentry work including framing, roofing, cladding, exterior finishing, interior fit-outs and general residential construction. Read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications and building documentation. Work alongside the construction team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Maintain a safe, clean and organised worksite at all times. Follow company procedures and New Zealand health and safety requirements. Assist with all aspects of residential construction as required. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and industry knowledge. What we're looking for Trade qualification in Carpentry or equivalent recognised qualification. Ideally qualified in NZ or Australia. At least 2 years of relevant carpentry experience. Experience in residential construction. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Good communication skills and positive attitude. Commitment to workplace health and safety. Ability to carry out carpentry tasks independently while working collaboratively within a team environment Full driver's licence preferred. What we offer Full-time permanent employment. 40 hours per week. Hourly rate from $31.00 to $41.00 per hour depending on skills and experience.
