Executive Director - Enterprise Applications & Technology Transformation

We are currently partnering with a leading enterprise organization on a confidential search for a senior technology executive to lead the strategy, development, and modernization of business-critical enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the enterprise application technology strategy and long-term roadmap. Lead multiple software engineering, application delivery, and support teams responsible for custom-built enterprise platforms. Drive large-scale application modernization and digital transformation initiatives. Oversee the full application lifecycle, including development, enhancement, support, and operational excellence. Establish engineering standards, governance frameworks, and Centers of Excellence to improve delivery capability. Partner with executive stakeholders to align technology investments with business objectives. Lead enterprise programs involving system integration, cloud technologies, modern architecture, and emerging technologies. Build high-performing teams while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. We're Looking For 15+ years' experience leading enterprise technology, software engineering, or application services. Strong background in IT Consulting, System Integration, Enterprise Architecture, or Digital Transformation. Proven experience managing large software engineering or application development organizations. Deep understanding of enterprise applications, modern software architecture, cloud platforms, APIs, and system integration. Demonstrated success delivering complex technology programs across multiple business units. Experience establishing governance, delivery frameworks, engineering standards, or Centers of Excellence. Outstanding stakeholder management and executive communication skills. This role is ideal for senior technology leaders currently working within large enterprises, global consulting firms, system integrators, or organizations delivering complex, business-critical technology platforms.
