Senior Associate - Tax AI & Innovation - Technology - PwC Tax - Hong Kong

The candidate will work in a team which is responsible for all technology based business solutions for the Tax & Finance division in the China and Hong Kong region. Moreover, the team serves as a contact point and liaison for other territories within as well as outside the Asia-Pacific region in relation to tax technology. We work closely with both the tax professionals and IT specialists within the Firm to support the systems life cycle of concurrent tax technology projects so as to deliver best-in-class technology-based business solutions. Job description and responsibilities: Understand business and client needs and derive business requirements, functional design, and process design Assist in analysing business processes, identifying potential automation opportunities and creating Process Description Document, and Solution Design Document Design, develop and work with off-shore development teams to deliver and maintain solutions Perform testing and handle related issues during development and implementation of software projects Research latest technology and AI trends and identify potential use cases Maintain documentation and adhere to coding best practice Assist in planning and tracking projects tasks and timeline Collect feedback and monitor on software projects after launch Requirements: BSc / BEng in Computer Science or a related discipline A minimum of 3 years' experiences in application or systems development Proficiency in Python, C#, Java, or any programming language Solid experience with server setup; exposure to AWS, Azure and different cloud technologies is an advantage Practical experience in MySQL, SQL Server or PostgreSQL Practical experience with system design, implementation, and quality assurance is a plus Experience in working on multiple LLMs, especially vision LLMs / OCR is an advantage Demonstrate understanding of different software development life-cycle methodologies, CI/CD, version control (Git) Experience with containerization is an advantage (e.g., Kubernetes) Great written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese Ability to work well and communicate effectively with other professionals Strong organizational and analytical skills to research, compile, and clearly present information and data Ability to function well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Junior candidates will be considered as Associate Disclaimer The PwC China* does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firm recruiters.
