Physical Education (PE) Teacher

Job Summary Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons that promote students' physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles in a safe and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons aligned with the school's curriculum. Promote physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles among students. Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students. Assess, monitor, and evaluate students' progress in physical skills, participation, and overall development. Organise and supervise sports activities, competitions, school events, and extracurricular programmes. Ensure the safe use, maintenance, and organisation of sports equipment and facilities. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress. Collaborate with colleagues, school leaders, and parents to support students' academic and personal development. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, school events, and extracurricular activities. Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field. Teaching qualification or valid teaching licence preferred. Experience teaching Physical Education, preferably in an international school. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. Excellent English communication skills. Ability to motivate and inspire students through physical activity. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching the Cambridge, British, or other international curriculum. First Aid or CPR certification is an advantage. Experience coaching school sports teams or leading extracurricular sports activities. Commitment to continuous professional development.
