Secondary Mathematics Teacher Job Description Position: Secondary Mathematics Teacher Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for secondary students in accordance with the school's curriculum and international education standards. Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centred learning environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning. Assess, monitor, and evaluate students' academic progress through assignments, projects, quizzes, examinations, and classroom participation. Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their learning goals. Differentiate instruction to accommodate students with varying learning abilities and educational needs. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment results, and student progress. Establish and maintain effective classroom management to promote a safe and respectful learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues, school leadership, and parents to support students' academic and personal development. Participate in departmental meetings, professional development programmes, school events, parent-teacher conferences, and extracurricular activities as required. Integrate educational technology and innovative teaching strategies into classroom instruction. Prepare students for internal and external assessments where applicable. Uphold the school's policies, safeguarding procedures, and professional standards at all times. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field. Teaching qualification or valid teaching licence is preferred. Previous experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level, preferably in an international school. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken. Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural environment. Passion for teaching and supporting students' academic and personal growth. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching Cambridge, British Curriculum, or other international curricula. Familiarity with digital learning platforms and educational technology. Commitment to continuous professional development.
