· Compliance & Expertise: Serve as the primary expert on local customs regulations, tariffs, import/export restrictions, and free trade agreements. · Declaration Management: Personally handle and oversee the accurate and timely preparation and submission of customs declarations for air, ocean, and road freight shipments (both import and export). · License Holder: Act as the company's qualified and licensed customs broker, ensuring all activities are performed under your valid license and in full compliance with local law. · Client Advisory: Provide expert advice to clients and the internal team on customs classification, valuation, duty optimization, and documentary requirements. · Agency Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for customs authorities and other government agencies, managing audits, queries, and resolutions effectively. · Process Setup: Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the customs brokerage process within the new country entity.
