About Mathetactics Education (學臻教育) Mathetactics Education (學臻教育) is a premium tutoring boutique based in Yau Ma Tei, serving students from ESF, CIS, GSIS, CDNIS, ISF, Harrow, Kellett, and top local schools. We specialise in IB, IGCSE / GCSE, and A-Level curricula. Our alumni include multiple state honours students, Oxbridge, Ivy League, and HKU / CUHK Medicine placements. We are expanding our IB Sciences vertical and hiring a Junior IB Sciences Tutor (Chemistry / Biology) to work alongside our founding team. The Role - Teach IB Chemistry HL / SL and / or IB Biology HL / SL in small-group (5-7 students) format - Prepare topic-specific worksheets, mock papers, and past-paper drills - Diagnose student weaknesses using our proprietary assessment framework - Contribute to curriculum development and video content for the Sciences vertical Requirements - Bachelor's degree (First / Second Class Honours preferred) in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or closely related discipline from HKU, CUHK, HKUST, or equivalent institution - Strong academic record — please state your degree classification and GPA - Prior tutoring or teaching experience, ideally with IB / IGCSE / A-Level Sciences - Fluent Cantonese and English (Mandarin a plus) - Yau Ma Tei on-site availability — this role is NOT remote - Ability to teach evenings and weekends What We Offer - Path to lead the Sciences vertical as it scales - Structured onboarding and mentorship from our founding team (Ken Sir) - Access to our full IB question bank, past-paper archive, and diagnostic tools - Competitive compensation reviewed based on performance and student outcomes - Long-term career trajectory — this is not a side gig How to Apply Please email the following to kensir@mathetactics.com : 1.
