Commercial Estimator, Timber Flooring and Interiors Surry Hills, NSW | Full-time | $85,000 - $100,000 You're a strong estimator who wants more than volume work. You want projects worth pricing carefully and a team that values your input. That's what this role offers. The Work We price and deliver high-specification timber flooring, staircases, decking, and wall and ceiling linings. Our project list includes the Sydney Opera House refurbishment, the Prime Minister's Sydney CBD office, and a string of award-winning multi-million dollar residential developments. You'll be working on jobs that architects and builders care about and that require a proper approach to estimating. What You'll Do Prepare detailed estimates and proposals from architectural drawings and specifications. Complete plan take-offs and commercial pricing. Manage supplier negotiations and maintain pricing databases. Support the full tendering process from feasibility to submission. Liaise with builders, architects, designers, and internal project teams. Manage your pipeline in Salesforce. What We're Looking For 2+ years in construction estimating or a closely related role. Strong plan reading and take-off skills. Confident working autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Clear communicator across internal teams and external stakeholders. A background in construction, flooring, interiors, joinery, or fit-out is a real advantage. Proficiency with Groundplan, Salesforce, and Google Workspace preferred. What You'll Get Direct access to the Directors and Sales Manager. You'll join a small, experienced team with structured onboarding and genuine day-to-day support. The environment is high-standards but collaborative, and progression is real. One WFH day per week once established. Surry Hills office, walking distance to Central.
