As exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Officer to join a large, multi-site operation. Reporting to the Payroll Team Lead, your responsibilities will include: Running the full payroll cycle for a large, geographically spread workforce, making sure everyone is paid accurately and on time Set up new employees and keep individual records current across the employee lifecycle Handle off-boarding calculations from end to end, including employment termination payments Work through salary changes, back pay and any related adjustments Track and calculate leave entitlements, including long service leave accruals and provisions Prepare monthly and year-end reconciliations, along with the reporting that sits behind them Remit statutory and third-party obligations such as PAYG, payroll tax and superannuation Field payroll queries from across the business and resolve them with a service-first approach To be considered for this role, you'll bring 3 to 4 years' payroll experience, ideally with exposure to a large national payroll. A solid working knowledge of payroll legislation, payroll tax and long service leave provisions will set you up for success, along with genuine attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Just as importantly, you're a clear communicator who can work autonomously while remaining a reliable, positive presence within a team.
