MANAGER, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT)

Job Purpose The Manager, IT is responsible for maintaining technology infrastructure, ensuring data security, managing digital systems, and supporting business operations through innovative IT solutions. Key Responsibilities 1. IT Infrastructure & Operations Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including network, servers, hardware, and software. Ensure reliable and secure functioning of IT systems across all business units. Monitor and maintain system performance and uptime. 2. IT Strategy & Planning Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals. Identify opportunities for technology upgrades and automation to enhance efficiency and customer experience. Plan and manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships. 3. Security & Compliance Implement cybersecurity best practices to protect sensitive data and systems. Ensure compliance with data protection laws and industry regulations. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments. 4. Digital Systems & Innovation Oversee website, mobile applications, and digital marketing tools from a technical perspective. 5. Support & Training Develop IT policies and user manuals. Conduct training sessions for system usage. Liaise with department heads to understand their IT needs and provide tailored solutions. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of relevant IT experience, with proven experience in a managerial or leadership role. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, and digital technologies. Experience in IT strategy, project management, vendor management, and budget planning. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proactive, results-oriented, and able to lead multiple IT initiatives effectively. Willing to be based in Subang Jaya, Selangor .
