Tax & Statutory Accounting Manager

The opportunity A NYSE-listed global electronics manufacturer is expanding its Thailand operation significantly, driven by growth in cloud computing and data centre hardware. The Thailand site is one of the group's largest, and the finance function is being built out to match. This role owns Thai tax and statutory reporting for the entity. It reports into the Finance Manager, with a clear line of sight to Finance Manager and Finance Director positions as the site scales — this is a build-and-progress role, not a caretaker one. What you'll own Full Thai tax compliance for the entity — VAT, WHT and corporate income tax filings (PP.30, P.N.D. 50/51 and related), filed accurately and on time BOI privilege management: segregation of P&L and fixed assets between promoted and non-promoted activity, exemption tracking, and all mandatory BOI reporting Statutory financial statements under TFRS, alongside US GAAP reporting into the group — you'll work across both frameworks Month, quarter and year-end close in partnership with an offshore Shared Services team, with responsibility for reconciliation quality and GL integrity Transfer pricing documentation, and first-line support on Revenue Department audits and queries Statutory audit coordination with the external auditors What you'll bring Thai CPA (or CPD/CA) — strongly preferred 5+ years in Thai tax and accounting, including hands-on ownership of filings and statutory reporting in a manufacturing environment Practical BOI experience — not audit-side exposure, but managing privileges from the inside Working knowledge of US GAAP or another group reporting standard alongside TFRS Fluent Thai and confident working English — you'll deal with both the Revenue Department and a regional finance team SAP, Oracle or comparable ERP Why this one Multinational governance standards, a genuinely growing site, and a package at the upper end of the Thai market for this level.
