Senior Business Services Accountant (Part-Time) - $100,000 per annum + super FTE I'm partnering exclusively with a well-established and highly respected financial services and accounting firm to recruit an experienced Senior Business Services Accountant. This is a genuine part-time opportunity, offering either a 3 or 4-day working week, making it ideal for an experienced public practice accountant seeking greater flexibility without compromising on the quality or complexity of their work. Working closely with an experienced leadership team, you'll manage technical accounting, taxation and compliance work from commencement through to completion across a diverse client base, without the responsibility of managing staff or maintaining your own client portfolio. The Opportunity Key responsibilities include: Preparing financial statements and income tax returns across a range of entity types. Managing BAS, IAS, FBT, ASIC compliance and other statutory lodgements. Preparing technical tax calculations, including CGT and Division 7A. Assisting with tax planning strategies and ensuring compliance with Australian taxation legislation and accounting standards. Managing business registrations, ASIC changes and corporate compliance requirements. Completing AML/CTF obligations, including customer due diligence and regulatory compliance. Liaising with the ATO, ASIC and other regulatory bodies where required. Managing engagements from commencement through to completion while maintaining exceptional technical standards and meeting client deadlines. Working collaboratively with senior leadership to deliver practical, commercially focused outcomes for clients. About You To be successful, you'll have: CPA or CA qualified. 5+ years' experience within Australian public practice accounting. Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and accounting standards. Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns across multiple entity types. Exposure to ASIC compliance and corporate compliance obligations. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach.
