Civil Machine Operator (Excavator/Digger Operator) We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Civil Machine Operator to join our growing team. This role involves operating excavators and other heavy machinery on a variety of civil construction projects, including earthworks, drainage, trenching, site preparation, and roading. Key Responsibilities: Operate excavators (diggers) and other civil construction machinery safely and efficiently. Carry out earthworks, trenching, drainage, and site preparation. Read and work from site plans and instructions. Perform daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on machinery. Work alongside ground crews to ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule. Follow all health and safety policies and site procedures. Requirements: Proven experience operating excavators and other civil plant. Relevant machine operator licences or endorsements. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong understanding of safe excavation practices. Reliable, punctual, and physically fit.
