Manufacturing Costing Prepare, maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOM) Calculate manufacturing costs for products Maintain systematic product costing structures Ensure costing information remains accurate and up-to-date Product Pricing & Profitability Compute manufacturing costs for customer quotations Review selling prices against product costs Analyse product profitability Recommend pricing updates where appropriate ERP Costing Management Create and maintain: Product Codes Bills of Materials (BOM) Product Costs Selling Prices Ensure timely and accurate updates within the ERP system Cost Analysis & Reporting Prepare monthly and ad-hoc costing reports Perform standard cost versus actual cost variance analysis Identify costing discrepancies Recommend and implement corrective cost adjustments Business Partnership Collaborate closely with: Production Purchasing Engineering Finance Note: To ensure costing information accurately reflects manufacturing operations. Inventory Support Participate in quarterly stock counts Support annual physical inventory exercises Continuous Improvement Contribute ideas to improve: Costing processes ERP utilisation Financial controls Operational efficiency Job Requirements Education Bachelor's Degree in: Cost Management Accounting Accountancy Finance Equivalent disciplines Experience Minimum 3 years of manufacturing cost accounting experience Experience in manufacturing costing and BOM management Exposure to ERP systems is essential Experience with Epicor ERP will be an added advantage Technical Skills We are looking for candidates with experience in: Manufacturing Costing Standard Costing Product Costing BOM Management Cost Variance Analysis Product Pricing ERP Systems Microsoft Excel (Advanced Formula & Pivot Table) Personal Attributes The successful candidate will be: Analytical and logical Meticulous with strong attention to detail Organised and systematic Resourceful and proactive A strong problem solver Able to manage multiple priorities Independent and self-motivated A collaborative team player Committed to meeting deadlines Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Employee Benefits We offer an attractive remuneration and benefits package including: Competitive Salary (RM4,000 – RM5,500) - Salary will be commensurate based on education and relevant experience.
