Responsibilities: End-to-End Pipeline & Logic Migration: Data Ingestion & Pipeline Design: Design and develop scalable data pipelines to ingest data from various source systems into a Cloud-based Modern Data Platform. Legacy Code Transformation: Convert and modernize legacy ETL logic (e.g., legacy scripts, stored procedures, or specialized ETL tools) into high-performance Spark/Databricks frameworks using automation tools. Logic Optimization: Refine and optimize transformed code to ensure business logic consistency and performance efficiency in the new environment. Comparative Data Validation: Perform rigorous data reconciliation between legacy and modern platforms to ensure 100% data integrity (validating record counts, distinct values, and numeric balances). Integration & Delivery: Downstream Enablement: Develop standardized "Common Views" and data access layers to facilitate seamless integration for multiple downstream applications. Access Control Implementation: Apply Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and data security policies to ensure secure and governed data access. Technical Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve complex logic discrepancies and technical issues during integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases. Qualifications and Experiences: 3+ years in Data Engineering, with a proven track record in Data Migration or Modernization projects. Strong proficiency in Apache Spark (PySpark/Scala) and SQL within a Databricks or similar cloud data platform environment. Experience in large-scale data reconciliation and automated testing methodologies. Familiarity with cloud data services and security frameworks (RBAC, Data Encryption, and Governance). Strong root-cause analysis skills to identify and fix data or logic anomalies between disparate systems. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and application owners to gather requirements and support integration efforts. Location: Bangkok >
