About this role To support the continued expansion of our export activities across Southeast Asia, we are seeking a Sales Engineer to be based at our regional hub in Thailand. This role will support market growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and assisting in the execution of business development initiatives across the region. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to contribute to the company’s long-term growth in the renewable energy sector. What You Will Do Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets by developing new business opportunities and growing existing accounts. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, distributors, EPC contractors, and business partners through regular visits and effective account management. Manage the entire sales process, from identifying customer needs and presenting solutions to preparing quotations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring successful product delivery. Deliver technical product presentations and provide pre-sales support to help customers select the most suitable solar components and solutions. Provide after-sales support by addressing initial customer inquiries and coordinating with the engineering and technical support teams for advanced assistance. Monitor project and order progress to ensure timely execution, customer satisfaction, and effective issue resolution. Gather and report market intelligence, including competitor activities, customer feedback, industry trends, new regulations, and emerging technologies. Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve sales- and service-related issues promptly and efficiently. Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, procurement, logistics, and other cross-functional teams to improve customer experience and business performance. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in technical sales , preferably in solar components, electrical products, or renewable energy distribution. Good knowledge of solar PV components, including modules, inverters, batteries, mounting systems, and balance-of-system (BOS) products. Strong understanding of the solar distribution market and customer segments. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to interpret technical specifications and recommend appropriate products. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently. Willingness to travel regularly to visit customers and business partners. well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Good command of English, both written and spoken.
