System Analyst / Programmer

About the role We are seeking a talented System Analyst / Programmer to join Fabrinet Co., Ltd. in Chon Buri on a full-time basis . This is a pivotal role within our IT and telecommunications technology division, where you will be responsible for analysing, designing, and developing software solutions that drive our business operations forward. As a System Analyst / Programmer, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring that our systems are robust, scalable, and aligned with organisational objectives. Key responsibilities Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and system design documents Design and develop software applications and systems using appropriate programming languages and technologies Conduct system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality and optimal performance Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and other team members to understand requirements and deliver solutions on schedule Maintain and update existing software systems, addressing bugs and implementing enhancements Document system designs, code functionality, and technical processes for future reference and knowledge sharing Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and junior team members as required Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices in software engineering What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field Proven experience as a System Analyst, Programmer, or similar software development role, ideally 2-5 years in a professional environment Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, Python, HTML or similar languages Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices Experience with database design and SQL query optimization, SQL injection, store procedure, and any database such as PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL and others. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN Familiarity with system design patterns and software architecture principles Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Knowledge of telecommunications or networking systems is a plus Experience with agile development methodologies is desirable What we offer At Fabrinet Co., Ltd., we are committed to supporting the professional growth and wellbeing of our employees.
