Mō mātou | About us Visionwest Waka Whakakitenga is an award-winning, not-for-profit organisation with faith-led roots, that provides a range of social services to communities in Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Waikato, and Christchurch. Visionwest exists to address homelessness, reduce poverty, support the elderly, and ensure young people have hope for the future. For over 30 years, Visionwest Home Healthcare has been providing quality Home Healthcare and Individualised funding services for older adults and people living with disabilities with a team of over 1,300 support workers spread throughout the different regions. Mō te tūranga | About the Role Working 3 weekends per month from our office in Waikato, our weekend coordinators work weekends and public holidays and are available for rostered shifts anywhere between 6.00 am and 9.00 pm, answering calls to ensure uninterrupted care for our clients by delivering responsive placement support services. We provide care to people who are elderly, have a physical disability, have high medical needs, and have challenging behaviour. This is a fast-paced role in a busy environment that requires great organisation skills and the ability to think on your feet. Excellent communication skills are essential for you to be able to work with a wide range of people the position comes into contact with on a daily basis. Mōu ake | About you Experience with rostering staff and clients Intermediate-level data entry skills Attention to detail Problem-solving skills combined with the ability to provide responsive, person-centered solutions for our clients Excellent organisational and communication skills Database and administration skills Excellent clear spoken and written English Previous experience working in a call center (advantageous) A calm, flexible attitude and the ability to multi-task Strong time management capabilities and the ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm and professional To be a great team player who enjoys supporting others in their work Previous call center experience would be advantageous.
