Welding Inspector

Experienced Welding Inspector looking for excellent pay and a long-term opportunity? We're looking for an experienced Welding Inspector to join a well-established engineering company based in Papakura. With over 20 years' experience delivering specialist welding solutions across New Zealand, they work across pump stations, water and wastewater infrastructure, gas pipeline welding, structural steelwork, and certified welding services. You'll be responsible for inspecting welding and fabrication work, completing quality checks, reviewing documentation, and ensuring projects meet required standards and specifications. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical knowledge and confidence in welding compliance. What's on offer: Permanent, full-time position Monday to Friday | 7:00am - 5:00pm Papakura-based Long-term opportunity with an established company Supportive team environment Key responsibilities: Inspect welding and fabrication work to required standards Complete quality checks, reports, and documentation Review welding procedures, drawings, and specifications Identify quality issues and ensure corrective actions are followed Work closely with welders and project teams to maintain high standards What we're looking for: Previous experience as a Welding Inspector Strong knowledge of welding processes, codes, and standards Experience with pipe welding and/or structural steelwork Experience working to ASME IX, AS/NZS 1554, and AS/NZS 2214 standards Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation Strong attention to detail and quality focus If you're an experienced Welding Inspector looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
