The Opportunity We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance team into its next chapter. This is not a “keep the lights on” CFO role. It is an opportunity to help redesign and modernise the finance function for the next decade. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a key business partner to the leadership team, helping shape strategy, strengthen performance, and build a finance function that enables better decisions across the group. You do not need 20 years of listed-company experience. What matters most is a strong professional foundation, sound judgement, curiosity about how businesses work, and the confidence to ask thoughtful questions while listening carefully to others. Key Responsibilities Partner with the CEO and leadership team on business planning, pricing, profitability, investment decisions, and long-term financial strategy; Own the management accounts and ensure they are timely, accurate, and useful for decision-making across eight offices; Strengthen operational reporting by turning financial data into clear insights that help office heads and service lines improve performance; Lead and act as the key financial lead for external and internal audits, and ensure a clean and efficient audit execution; Ensure compliance with HKEX Listing Rules, HKFRS/IFRS, and other relevant regulatory requirements for the listed entity; Develop, coach, and support a small but impactful finance team, while introducing better tools, processes, controls, and ways of working. About You Professionally qualified as a CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent, ideally with 2–5 years of post-qualification experience with some exposure to a Hong Kong–listed company, listed-company reporting, or a complex multi-entity group; Experienced in management reporting, month-end close, audit coordination, and working with external auditors; Comfortable in, or keen to learn quickly about, a consultancy or professional services environment; Curious and commercially minded, with the ability to explain what the numbers mean—not only whether they balance; Emotionally intelligent, open, and kind, with the ability to challenge constructively and build trust across teams and offices; Ready to grow into a broader leadership role, not simply a technical finance role. Experience in a Hong Kong–listed company is a plus, but not a must. We care more about your mindset, learning speed, integrity, and how you work with people than the length of your CV.
