Bookkeeper/Finance Officer

Immediate Start | Full-Time | Cheltenham | Office Based We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Finance Officer to join our finance team in Cheltenham. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for a range of day-to-day finance activities and work closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team. About the role Your responsibilities will include: - Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and finance transactions - Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable - Preparing and issuing invoices, including ensuring PO requirements are met including uploading to client portal -Liaise with clients regarding invoice needs -Completing bank and credit card reconciliations - Maintaining accurate financial records in Xero (working knowledge of MYOB an advantage ) - Assisting with month-end processes and reconciliations - Maintaining supplier and customer records - Investigating and resolving discrepancies - Assisting with reporting and other finance tasks as required - Helping to improve and maintain efficient finance processes About you We are looking for someone who has previous experience in a bookkeeping, Finance Officer or Accounts Officer role and is comfortable managing their own workload. You will ideally have: - Good experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable and general bookkeeping - Experience using Xero and MYOB - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities - The ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Good communication and problem-solving skills - A practical and positive approach to getting things done Experience working in a growing or multi-entity business would be an advantage.
