Specialist/Manager (Ocean FCL Product & Trade Management)

Job description Procurement Tasks of Transpacific Eastbound Services Develop, implement and administer FCL ocean products of Transpacific Eastbound services under the direction and guidance from the Trade Lead Implement sustainable strategies to maintain and expand existing businesses and capture new businesses Communicate with carriers for rate queries and RFQ businesses Support RFQs with negotiated rates and relevant conditions / details aligned with bid requirements Ensure valid and accurate FAK rates from core carriers Manage allocations, utilization and space issues (escalations from the field), liaising with carriers and internal parties Prepare trade reports periodically Assist in monitoring volume performance of key accounts in response to Trade Strategy and Policy Support activities; carrier assignment / allocations / routing guide upon business award and contract filing Prepare meeting materials and PPT for carrier business reviews and internal meetings Job Requirements: Preferred degree holder in Logistics, Maritime or related disciplines Minimum 1-2 years working experience in global liner or international freight forwarder Experience in procurement, pricing and trade management (Transpacific Eastbound relevant experience is desired) Candidates with more solid and relevant experience will be considered as Senior Specialist Good command of written and spoken both English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PPT applications Experienced in managing large data and generating data analytics Competency in business reporting applications e.g. Power BI We offer an attractive remuneration package to the right candidate.
