The Firm Boutique Chartered Accountancy Practice located in the Brisbane CBD is currently seeking the services of a talented full- time Tax/Business Services Accountant. The practice offers a diverse range of professional services to large scale commercial businesses, small to medium family run businesses, professionals and individuals. The Role Working directly with senior accountants the role comprises a good mix of business services compliance work including; Managing a portfolio of clients and preparing their Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns and related matters Preparation and lodgement of BAS & IAS statements Provide GST & Taxation advise Managing Fringe Benefits Tax issues Preparation of Budgets and cashflow statements and working closely with the firms Director on client business advisory matters such as structuring, management consulting, budgeting and tax planning The Individual As the role also includes meeting with clients, excellent and friendly communication skills, in both the verbal and written form is essential. The preferred candidate will be degree qualified with approximately 2 years of current industry experience in the Australian Tax/Business Services field. In addition the candidate must be undertaking CA/CPA post graduate studies. This role would suit someone who enjoys a small team environment looking for a high degree of autonomy is confident in managing a varied workload. The practice utilises a suite of software application tools including; Xero Accounting System (Tax and Workflow Max) BGL360 CAS FYI Docs Ignition Account Kit Knowledge of these software applications together with Microsoft Office Word & Excel is essential.
