Plant Operator – Rockhampton Project

RCC Civil is seeking experienced Plant Operators to join our team on a civil construction project based in Rockhampton, Queensland. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will safely and efficiently operate plant and equipment while supporting the delivery of high-quality civil works. Key responsibilities Safely operate plant and equipment. Complete daily pre-start inspections and routine operator maintenance. Keep machinery clean and in safe working condition. Report plant faults, breakdowns and servicing requirements. Complete daily dockets and plant records in Procore. Follow site plans, instructions and approved work methods. Comply with all safety, environmental and quality requirements. Attend site meetings, pre-starts, toolbox talks and inductions. Assist with general site duties when required. About you Previous plant operating experience in civil construction. Current relevant plant tickets or evidence of competency. Current White Card and driver’s licence. Ability to read basic plans, levels and site instructions. Sound knowledge of daily plant maintenance requirements. Reliable, safety-focused and able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work the required project roster. Full Australian working rights. Experience using Procore or similar construction management software will be highly regarded.
