Head of Quality (Metal stamping / Plastics molding)

Our client: Our client is a HK-listed global B2B manufacturing group with over 40 years of industry leadership. Serving as a trusted Tier-1 supplier for top multinational corporations, the group operates a strong international manufacturing network across Hong Kong, Mainland China, Southeast Asia, and overseas markets in the EU and US. Your role: Regional Quality Leadership: Oversee the Quality Management teams in the manufacturing facilities. Process & System Quality Control: Monitor whole-process quality for NPI and Mass Production, including metal stamping, plastic molding, and assembly processes. Problem Solving & Corrective Action: Identify root causes during product development and manufacturing; establish corrective/preventive action (CAPA) plans and drive continuous improvement. Customer Complaints & Stakeholder Management: Handle customer feedback and complaints from global clients; establish quality standards and reply with formal corrective action reports. Cross-Site Quality Audit & Risk Management: Conduct process/system audits and risk management across China and Thailand sites to ensure compliance with ISO standards and client requirements. Requirements: Education: Degree holder or above in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Science & Technology, or related disciplines. Experience: 10+ years of quality management experience in manufacturing/engineering environments (with at least 5+ years in a quality management/leadership capacity). Product Knowledge: Experience in metal stamping, plastic molding, mechanical components, or related electro-mechanical manufacturing is highly preferred. Team Management: Proven track record in managing quality engineering and QC teams (experience managing cross-border or Southeast Asia teams is a plus). Location & Travel: Based in Dongguan plant Language Skills: Excellent command of fluent English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (to communicate with HK GM, mainland factory teams, and overseas stakeholders). Technical Competency: Strong knowledge of Quality Tools (IATF 16949), ISO systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and Six Sigma principles.
