HR Recruitment and Employee Relations Specialist

About the Role We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented HRD Specialist – Recruitment & Employee Relations to lead end-to-end recruitment efforts and support employee relations programs. This role is responsible for attracting top talent, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies, and fostering a positive and productive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from manpower requisition, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, job offer, and onboarding. Partner with department heads and business leaders to understand workforce requirements and develop effective hiring strategies. Create and manage job advertisements across various recruitment platforms. Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical and hard-to-fill positions. Conduct applicant assessments, behavioral interviews, reference checks, and background verification. Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, hiring success rate, and applicant conversion rates. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Employee Relations & Labor Compliance Manage employee disciplinary cases, investigations, and administrative hearings while ensuring due process. Draft and issue employment-related notices, including Notices to Explain (NTEs) and Notices of Decision (NODs). Provide guidance to leaders and employees on workplace concerns, performance issues, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution. Act as a trusted HR partner in resolving employee grievances and fostering a positive work environment. Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR regulations. Identify employee relations trends and recommend preventive and corrective actions to management. Onboarding & Employee Experience Facilitate onboarding programs and new hire orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the organization. Communicate company policies, employee handbook, code of conduct, and workplace standards. Coordinate pre-employment requirements, medical clearances, and onboarding documentation. Support initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture. HR Operations & Reporting Maintain accurate employee records, recruitment databases, and HRIS data. Prepare and analyze recruitment and employee relations reports for management review. Monitor recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations KPIs. Ensure timely completion of HR documentation and compliance requirements. Assist in the implementation of HR projects, programs, and process improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 3-5 years of experience in Recruitment and Employee Relations. Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, employee relations practices, and talent acquisition strategies. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred. Experience supporting sales force recruitment is an advantage.
