About the role We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join the accounting team in Kuala Lumpur . This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in managing daily financial transactions and ensuring the smooth operation of our cash handling processes. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer payments, maintaining accurate cash records, and contributing to the overall financial integrity of the organization. This position is essential to our business operations and directly impacts customer satisfaction and financial accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily cash inflow and outflow operations; process payments and verify reimbursement documents upon approval; Oversee bank account administration: account opening, modification, closure, e-banking system maintenance, bank reconciliation, and filing of bank advices/statements; Maintain daily ledger records; prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash position reports; monitor account balances in real time; Reconcile and consolidate bank transaction records; Handle periodic bank account annual inspections; Provide documentation for internal and external audits; assist with bank confirmation procedures; Monitor account fees, term deposits, and other basic banking services; Other ad hoc tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications: Diploma degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related fields; accounting certification preferred; Minimum 1 year of experience in bank cashier or treasury operations; familiar with end-to-end payment and receipt procedures; Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables); Familiar with banking settlement rules, document management, and e-banking operations; Detail-oriented with strong numerical sensitivity and risk awareness; clean operational record; Effective communicator with strong execution skills; able to meet reporting deadlines under pressure; Ability to work across time zones and handle urgent business needs is preferred.
