HVAC Project Manager - Bay of Plenty

With continued growth across the business, we are looking for experienced HVAC Project Managers to join our team. About the Role Reporting to the Commercial Director you will be responsible for overseeing HVAC and refrigeration projects from start to finish, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. Key responsibilities include: Managing commercial HVAC and refrigeration projects through all stages of delivery Working closely with clients to scope, plan, price, and deliver projects Preparing estimates, reviewing tenders, and assisting with project costing Coordinating labour, subcontractors, materials, and site programmes Monitoring project budgets, timelines, and overall performance Managing variations and maintaining project profitability Preparing and submitting monthly progress claims and supporting documentation Ensuring all health & safety and quality requirements are met onsite Contributing to reporting, project reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives Supporting and mentoring junior staff where required Playing an active role within the wider ACSL management team About You You’ll be someone who can manage projects confidently while maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and site teams. You’ll have a practical approach, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of commercial HVAC delivery. Ideally, you will have: Proven experience managing commercial HVAC and refrigeration projects Strong knowledge of NZ building standards and industry practices Experience with estimating, quoting, and contract variations The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively Strong communication and organisational skills Experience using Simpro (preferred but not essential) A full NZ Driver Licence NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa What We Offer At ACSL, we value good people and provide an environment where our team is supported and set up to succeed.
