Guide students toward top US universities with no sales target Your Company Our client is a well-established education consultancy in Hong Kong, providing personalized academic and university admissions support to students across Asia. The organization takes a mentorship-led approach, combining strategic admissions guidance with students' academic, personal, and character development. Your Role As a US Admissions Consultant, you will provide comprehensive admissions guidance and mentorship to high-achieving students applying to leading US universities. You will assess each student's background, goals, and strengths to create tailored development and application strategies. You will advise students on academics, extracurricular activities, university selection, application essays, and supporting materials. You will also help them develop compelling personal narratives that authentically communicate their experiences and potential to admissions officers. Key responsibilities include: Manage a portfolio of students and families throughout the admissions journey. Develop personalized academic, extracurricular, and application roadmaps. Conduct regular student meetings with structured agendas and follow-up actions. Recommend best-fit universities based on each student's profile and aspirations. Guide students through essay planning, storytelling, and application preparation. Monitor progress and ensure applications are completed to a high standard. Provide ongoing mentorship that supports students' confidence and personal growth. Maintain strong relationships with students and parents to encourage retention and referrals. Stay informed about US admissions trends, requirements, and best practices. Support student consultations, marketing activities, and other business development initiatives. Collaborate with internal team members to continuously improve service quality. What You'll Need to Succeed Bachelor's degree from a top-ranked US university ; an advanced degree is advantageous. 2 to 5 years of admissions consulting experience supporting applications to highly selective US universities. Strong understanding of the US university admissions process and application requirements. Genuine passion for mentoring and developing secondary school students. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong essay development, storytelling, and editing capabilities. Well-organized with effective planning, project management, and follow-up skills. Ability to manage multiple students and application deadlines independently. Student-focused, patient, and capable of building trusted relationships with families. Proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be an advantage.
