About the role Based out of Penrose, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to ensure the safe, reliable, and cost‑effective maintenance of plant, equipment, and associated assets across the Ready-mix operations within the region. Reporting to the Area Manager, the role has primary accountability for preventative maintenance, breakdown response, and contractor management to minimise downtime and support continuous operational performance. The role works closely with Plant Managers, Operations, and external service providers to ensure maintenance activities are planned, prioritised, and executed in line with safety, operational, and commercial requirements. About you Demonstrated experience in maintenance and breakdown support within an industrial or operational environment Experience maintaining fixed plant, mobile plant, or heavy industrial equipment Experience engaging and managing external contractors and service providers Strong understanding of preventative maintenance and asset reliability principles Ability to diagnose faults and implement effective technical solutions Sound computer literacy and ability to use maintenance and reporting systems Clear and effective communication with operational, technical, and external stakeholders.
