Role Purpose The Finance & Accounting Manager is responsible for leading all finance and accounting functions of the Thailand plant, with direct accountability to the Plant General Manager. This role ensures full compliance with Thai GAAP / TFRS, taxation, BOI, customs, and statutory requirements, while providing accurate financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, and internal governance to support plant operations and management decision-making. The position also serves as a key coordination point with China HQ Finance under a dotted-line relationship for group reporting alignment and financial policy implementation. Key Responsibilities 1. Plant Finance Leadership & Accounting Operations Lead and manage all accounting and finance activities of the Thailand plant. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing in accordance with Thai GAAP / TFRS. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of management accounts, statutory financial statements, and supporting schedules. Maintain proper accounting records and documentation in compliance with Thai laws. 2. Taxation, BOI & Regulatory Compliance Ensure full compliance with Thai tax regulations including VAT, CIT, WHT, SSO, and other statutory filings. Act as the financial owner of BOI compliance, including BOI reporting, privilege utilization, and financial conditions. Coordinate customs clearance, duty exemption, and BOI-related import/export accounting for machinery and raw materials. Liaise with Revenue Department, Customs Department, BOI, auditors, and other authorities as required. 3. Budgeting, Cost Control & Financial Planning Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with plant operations and investment phases. Monitor CAPEX and OPEX spending and report variances to management. Analyze production costs, standard costing, BOM, inventory valuation, and cost variances. Support the Plant GM with P&L analysis, cash flow planning, and financial performance reviews. 4. Internal Control, Governance & Risk Management Establish and maintain effective internal control systems, including approval matrix, segregation of duties (SoD), and documentation controls. Ensure compliance with internal policies, PDPA, and group governance requirements. Identify financial, tax, and compliance risks and implement corrective or preventive actions. Support internal audits, BOI inspections, and external compliance reviews. 5. Payroll, Treasury & Banking Coordination Oversee payroll processing accuracy and statutory compliance in coordination with HR. Manage banking relationships, payment processes, and treasury activities. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and payment cycles to support plant liquidity. 6. Group Reporting & HQ Coordination (Dotted-Line Scope) Prepare group reporting packages and intercompany reconciliations in accordance with China HQ requirements. Coordinate with China HQ Finance on accounting policies, reporting formats, and timelines. Support cross-border financial communication while ensuring compliance with Thai legal requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. CPA or professional accounting certification is preferred. Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards, taxation, BOI, and customs regulations. Good command of English (written and spoken). Chinese language proficiency is mandatory Experience supporting Chinese expatriates or cross-border operations is an advantage Experience Minimum 8 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proven experience working in BOI-promoted companies. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent). Strong background in budgeting, costing, and management reporting. Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and financial management skills. High attention to detail and data accuracy. Ability to work under regulatory and reporting deadlines. Effective communication with management, HQ, and authorities.
