Assistant Production Manager

About the role SVI Public Company Limited is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to join our production team in Pathum Thani. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities. As Assistant Production Manager, you will work closely with senior management to oversee production scheduling, optimise production workflows, and ensure that all manufacturing operations meet our quality standards and delivery timelines. This role is essential to maintaining our competitive edge in the production and transport industry, and offers the opportunity to develop your skills in production planning and operational management. Key responsibilities: Support the development and implementation of production schedules and planning to ensure timely delivery of products Monitor daily production activities and coordinate with various departments to maintain smooth workflow Assist in identifying production bottlenecks and work with the team to implement efficiency improvements Maintain accurate production records, documentation and reporting systems Support quality control procedures and ensure compliance with production standards and safety regulations Coordinate with logistics and transport teams to facilitate the timely shipment of finished products Provide supervision and guidance to production staff, ensuring adherence to established procedures Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimisation Liaise with planning teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and resource allocation issues What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field 5 years of experience in production management, manufacturing operations or production planning Strong knowledge of production scheduling, planning methodologies and supply chain basics Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office applications Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively across teams Leadership potential and the ability to motivate and supervise production staff Knowledge of quality control and safety standards in manufacturing environments Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Preferred: Experience in the automotive, electronics, or consumer goods manufacturing sectors Apply now If you are interested in joining SVI Public Company Limited as an Assistant Production Manager, please submit your CV, covering letter and any relevant certifications to our Human Resources department.
