With construction underway, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager to help deliver one of the largest Solar Farms in New Zealand. We are looking for someone who can contribute to our success by: Lead daily construction operations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between clients, contractors, and stakeholders, including landowners and the local community. Support QA/QC processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards, while managing health, safety, and environmental regulations through inspections and compliance checks. Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, while maintaining project timelines and budgets. Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular progress reports, KPIs, and prgoramme updates to ensure smooth project delivery. Manage essential project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders, while ensuring proper recording of design variations and compliance with health, safety, and quality plans. The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the construction of utility-scale photovoltaic projects in New Zealand. Your role involves planning, coordinating and supervising various construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will oversee contractors, liaise with engineers and clients, and ensure compliance with design, regulations, and safety standards. This role is a full-time, site-based role in the Northland region on a 12+ month fixed term contract, with opportunity to extend onto other projects within our pipeline. About You Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising high value projects preferably within a contracting organisation Multi-discipline construction experience and ability to oversee construction from ground up to final completion. A sound knowledge of Health and Safety Principles and regulations and can walk the talk. Familiarity with electrical infrastructure, civil works, and Balance of Plant (BoP) systems desirable. Proven leadership skills, with a track record of managing construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
