The Opportunity This opportunity has become available due to the relocation of the current team member, creating an opportunity to join CAN PLAN’s close-knit and supportive team. This is a hands-on and varied role where you’ll play an important part across finance, administration, and customer interaction. Working closely with the wider team, you’ll enjoy a role with plenty of variety where no two days are the same. The Role Reporting to the Business Manager, this role sits at the heart of the business, supporting finance, administration, and operations. Key responsibilities include: End-to-end accounts administration including invoicing, AP/AR, and reconciliations Processing payments, direct debits, and supporting payroll data entry Managing customer accounts and maintaining accurate records in Xero Providing excellent customer service across phone, email, and counter enquiries Supporting order processing and coordinating delivery schedules Liaising with drivers and assisting with dispatch coordination General administration, reporting, and process improvement support This is a true all-rounder position where no two days are the same and where you’ll contribute across multiple areas of the business. Your Profile You’re a dependable, team-oriented individual who takes pride in your work and enjoys being part of a collaborative environment. Proven experience in accounts or office administration (Xero advantageous) Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to pitch in Confident communicator with a friendly and professional approach Well organised, reliable, and solutions-focused Enjoys working in a close-knit team with a shared workload Full eligibility to work in NZ If you’re looking for a stable, varied role within a respected local business where you can make a real contribution, this could be the opportunity for you.
