Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Business Development Executive to drive business growth within the food ingredients industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets while providing ingredient solutions that meet customers' commercial and technical requirements. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Drive sales growth by promoting food ingredient solutions to manufacturers and marketers across various food industry segments. Conduct regular customer visits to build, maintain, and strengthen long-term business relationships. Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities with both existing and prospective customers. Understand customers' product development and business needs, and recommend suitable ingredient solutions. Prepare and deliver sales proposals, presentations, product introductions, and commercial negotiations. Manage the sales pipeline effectively, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking to achieve sales objectives. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints to ensure excellent customer satisfaction. Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets. Product & Market Development Develop and maintain strong knowledge of food ingredients, their functionalities, applications, and market trends. Stay informed on industry developments, emerging market opportunities, and relevant food regulations, including food safety and labeling requirements. Collaborate closely with suppliers, technical teams, and internal stakeholders to identify new product opportunities and market needs. Provide market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback to support business planning and product development initiatives. Prepare regular business reports and updates for management review. Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Food Science & Technology, Nutrition, Dietetics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. Experience Minimum 2–3 years of B2B sales, business development, or account management experience within the food ingredients, food manufacturing, nutrition, pharmaceutical, or related industries. Fresh graduates with relevant academic background and strong commercial aptitude may be considered for junior positions. Skills & Competencies Good understanding of food ingredients and their industrial applications. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships. Commercially driven with a results-oriented mindset and passion for achieving sales targets. Strong business acumen, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development activities.
