Our client is a well-established power business and they are seeking a Cloud/SRE Engineer to join a diverse and collaborative team to support and manage our multi-cloud environment. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and manage Azure and Alibaba-Cloud resources Handle Site Reliability Engineering to ensure robust and stable IT systems to support business operations Implement and manage automation tools and platforms such as Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Ansible Automation Platform Automated Cloud Provisioning (Azure & Alibaba Cloud with Terraform/SNOW) E2E Automation for BAU Tasks & Incident Remediation (Ansible / Datadog) Create technical documentation, runbooks, architecture diagrams, and automation standards Implement and deliver projects in hybrid environments (cloud and on-premises) with a focus on high availability, performance, and security Oversee Enterprise Platforms and cloud computing resources, servers, databases, SAN storage, data protection, and disaster recovery. Manage and monitor housekeeping jobs, conduct regular system and hardware health checks, and perform disaster recovery drills Perform first-level diagnosis to identify and resolve issues, improving reliability. Key Requirements: Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, automation, or platform operations. IT professional certification (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Terraform Associate, or Alibaba Cloud ACA/ACP) is advantageous. Proficiency in automation and DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Ansible Automation Platform. Strong experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, and Python Familiarity with ServiceNow catalog and workflow is plus and monitoring tools such as Datadog and event-driven ansible automation Experience with multi-cloud platforms like Azure and Alibaba Cloud Administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows, Linux, MS SQL DB, Networking Proficiency in both spoken and written English Please note that only short listed candidates will be notified. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
