Contract Administrator

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Contract Administrator to join a leading Tier 1 commercial builder on a landmark $80 million Defence project based in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile government project, supporting the commercial team with a strong focus on subcontract procurement during a key stage of the project. The Role Reporting to the Senior Contract Administrator and Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include: Managing the subcontract procurement process from tender through to award Preparing and issuing subcontract packages Reviewing and analysing subcontractor quotations Assisting with scope reviews and procurement negotiations Preparing subcontract agreements and supporting documentation Working closely with project delivery and design teams to ensure procurement milestones are achieved Maintaining procurement schedules and contract documentation Supporting commercial reporting and project administration About You Previous experience as a Contract Administrator with a commercial builder Strong subcontract procurement experience is highly regarded Experience delivering commercial, government, health, education or defence projects Ability to work within a fast-paced Tier 1 project environment Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Immediate availability or able to start at short notice What's on Offer Immediate start on a flagship $80 million Defence project Opportunity to work with a leading Tier 1 contractor Competitive contract rates Long-term project with potential for extension Collaborative and experienced project team Site-based role in Newcastle , offering exposure to a significant defence development If you're an experienced Contract Administrator looking to secure your next contract with a Tier 1 builder, apply below or reach out to Rose Kilcawley 0450 598 772 #SCR-rose-kilcawley
