This is an opportunity to work within a high-performing engineering team responsible for building the data platform that underpins quantitative research and trading across APAC. You'll collaborate closely with traders, quantitative researchers and engineers to transform vast amounts of raw market data into high-quality datasets that directly influence trading decisions. What you'll be doing Designing, building and maintaining scalable Python data pipelines for research and production environments. Processing and transforming large volumes of market and financial data into clean, reliable datasets. Developing analytical tooling used by quantitative researchers and trading teams. Investigating and resolving data quality issues, ensuring datasets remain accurate, complete and available. Optimising storage, processing performance and data throughput across large-scale platforms. Working closely with trading, quantitative research and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable, high-performance data solutions. What we're looking for Strong Python development experience. Excellent knowledge of libraries such as Pandas, NumPy or Polars. Experience working with large-scale datasets and modern data storage formats such as Parquet or HDF5. Strong Linux fundamentals. Understanding of networking concepts and distributed systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on performance and scalability. Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with technical and business stakeholders. Previous experience within financial markets, market data or quantitative environments is advantageous but not essential for exceptional engineers. Why join?
