You will play an important role in deploying solutions from the corporate to overseas Business Units. You will get to work with people of different background and culture over the globe. Your key responsibilities will include: Liaise with user representative and product management team on business requirements and technical solutions. Lead and coordinate task force to design and build applications based on cloud-native principles and deployable to cloud platforms. Refactor, review, and maintain existing enterprise application code bases ensuring scalability, performance and security are taken into consideration, building new features to support the growth of global business. Participate & effectively contribute to scrum ceremonies with the product owner and scrum team. Collaborate with architects, engineers, QAs, designers, and partners to contribute to solution design and problem solving. Research and learn new methodologies & technologies and share knowledge with the team. Manage application releases and systems upgrade. Provide user support on application systems. Provide occasional standby support service for critical situations. Desired Skills and Qualities Key Requirements & Experience Education: University Degree in Computer Science, AI Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience: 8+ years of experience in application design and development Leadership: Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role. Must demonstrate experience managing hybrid human-AI workflows , including overseeing code generated by AI agents and maintaining architectural integrity. Core Backend: Solid experience in Java 21+ (Jakarta EE) and Spring Boot 3.x . Experience migrating legacy systems (EJB/Swing) to modern microservices or serverless architectures is highly valued. Modern Frontend: Expertise in React 19+ , TypeScript. Familiarity with "AI-ready" UI components and streaming interfaces. AI Fluency: Hands-on experience with AI Coding Assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and the ability to perform "AI Orchestration"—using AI to generate boilerplate, unit tests, and documentation while maintaining rigorous human oversight. Technical Skills & Tools Development Ecosystem: Advanced knowledge of IntelliJ IDEA , Maven/Gradle, and Git. Must be proficient in Prompt Engineering for development and using AI for automated refactoring. Architecture: Deep understanding of DDD, MVVM, and Micro-Frontend (MFE) . Ability to design Agentic Workflows where software components can reason and act using tools/APIs. Infrastructure & DevOps: Proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s) , Helm, and container runtimes (Docker/Podman). Data Systems: Experience with traditional SQL (PostgreSQL/Oracle) and NoSQL Database (MongoDB). Soft Skills & Language The "Orchestrator" Mindset: A team player with a focus on Systems Thinking . Communication: Fluent in English and Putonghua . Ability to explain complex AI-driven architectural decisions to non-technical stakeholders. Adaptability: Eagerness to learn and pivot as the AI landscape evolves monthly. Travel: Occasional travel might be required.
